Dogecoin Posts Strongest Monthly Gains Since January

After three rough months, Dogecoin has finally rebounded, posting its best monthly performance since January. In August, DOGE gained a significant 21.4% in what was the crypto's strongest showing this year.

The price of DOGE rose from around 0.069 dollar to nearly 0.10 dollar during the second half of the month, representing an impressive gain of over 44%. However, sellers intervened, preventing the price from permanently breaking through the 0.10 dollar threshold.

While this rebound is a welcome relief for Dogecoin investors, it's essential to note that the crypto still remains down nearly 27% since January and lags significantly behind its peak in 2025.
