Dogecoin Price Holds Firm Amid Slowing Futures Activity
Dogecoin's recent price stability is under scrutiny as futures activity appears to be losing steam. The cryptocurrency has managed to hold onto its $0.09 value, despite a decline in trading intensity. According to Cryptoquant data, sellers are gaining the upper hand, with buyers seemingly hesitant to enter positions.
The big hands, or whales, are still actively participating in the market, but their influence is not enough to drive up buying interest. Average Order Size data shows that larger orders are still being placed, indicating that bigger players are remaining engaged.
Despite the mixed signals from futures data, Dogecoin's price has maintained its recent gains. The cryptocurrency had a significant move up in late August, climbing from $0.07 to the $0.09 area. Since then, there has been only consolidation, with buying strength still present despite a slowing pace.
Ambcrypto previously reported that Dogecoin entered a rare CVDD undervaluation zone, which has so far appeared near major turning points. While a bottom is not obvious, long-term buyers should keep an eye on this development.
