Dogecoin (DOGE) is experiencing a pullback after reaching a three-month high of $0.100 in August, down around 14% from that peak.

The meme coin's price has been hovering between $0.084 and $0.086 as of August 31.

Despite the drop, DOGE is still up 25% in August, making it the best monthly return for 2026 so far, breaking a three-month bearish streak.

The decrease in trading volume from $5.2 billion on August 23 to just $1.5 billion and perpetual futures open interest dropping from 17.3 billion DOGE to 15.7 billion DOGE suggest reduced speculative activity.
