Dogecoin Rallies on DOGE-1 Mission, Trading Volume Surge
Dogecoin (DOGE) has regained momentum as buyers defend its key support level within an ascending price channel. The DOGE-1 lunar mission is providing additional attention to the cryptocurrency, which has seen a significant surge in trading volume.
According to Trader Tardigrade's technical analysis, Dogecoin recently rebounded twice from the lower boundary of its ascending price channel, giving traders confidence that upward movement is possible. The sharp rally earlier in September pushed DOGE from support at around $0.0815 to just above $0.0915, followed by a correction to approximately $0.0825 by mid-month.
The current trading price of $0.08584 has recovered above both the 20-period and 100-period exponential moving averages (EMAs) on the four-hour chart, while actively testing the 50 EMA. This suggests short-term buying momentum is increasing, with the 200 EMA providing additional longer-term support beneath the current price.
