Dogecoin Soars on DOGE-1 Launch and Network Upgrade
Dogecoin has seen significant gains after confirmation of the DOGE-1 lunar mission launch date and implementation of a major network upgrade. The cryptocurrency jumped 8.1% with price action above its key 20- and 50-day moving averages, but still facing resistance at the 200-day average.
The DOGE-1 mission is set to launch on September 14 via SpaceX, fully funded with Dogecoin. This increased visibility has boosted asset value and attracted institutional flows and whale activity.
Additionally, the SEC and CFTC have classified Dogecoin as a digital commodity, and new spot Dogecoin ETFs are appearing on major exchanges, further increasing its adoption.
