Dogecoin Surges After CleanCore Exit, Kalshi Predicts Cautious August
Dogecoin has been making waves in the cryptocurrency market after CleanCore's exit from its treasury. The memecoin, which was trading at $0.09112 with a $14.182 billion market cap, according to CoinGecko data, saw a weekly gain of over 30% and a monthly gain of 24%. This sudden surge has caught the attention of traders.
CleanCore's full exit from its treasury is notable, as it sold its entire 463 million treasury for around $33.4 million and shifted that capital into AI agent assets. The firm also closed a $100 million stock offering, increasing its total share count from 226.2 million to 502.1 million shares.
The Kalshi prediction market is now taking bets on Dogecoin's August ceiling, with a split lean towards caution. According to the odds, 70% of bettors think DOGE will stay under $0.10 in August, while 30% see it rising above $0.11.
