Dogecoin Surges to Eight-Week High as Analysts Target $0.20
Dogecoin is gaining momentum after reaching an eight-week high of $0.156 on Tuesday, according to data from Yellow.com.
The cryptocurrency had previously declined by more than 50% from its Q2 2025 peaks but has been in a downtrend until last week's breakout, during which it recorded a 21% gain through early January and opened 2026 at $0.117.
Analyst Tardigrade noted that the recent surge displayed a three-month falling wedge pattern on the three-day chart, with Dogecoin breaching the upper boundary to trigger an initial move toward the $0.140-$0.150 zone.
The analyst compared current action to 2024 performance, when the token moved within a multi-month falling wedge before breaking out, suggesting that the price might retrace briefly to test the breakout area before the next major advance.
