Dogecoin Teeters on Make-or-Break Zone as Mixed Sentiment Persists
Dogecoin (DOGE) hovers around $0.083 as it teeters on the edge of a crucial support zone, with its price movement mirroring mixed signals from institutional demand and derivatives positioning.
A recent analysis by SoSoValue shows that spot DOGE Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) have been quiet since last week, suggesting investors have limited conviction in DOGE's recovery. This lack of interest is further reinforced by the fact that if these flows turn negative this week, DOGE could face a correction ahead.
However, on the derivatives side, CoinGlass' long-to-short ratio for DOGE reads 0.66 on Tuesday, indicating bearish sentiment among traders. But despite this, Dogecoin's funding rates have flipped positive since September 9, with an OI-weighted funding rate of 0.0010% on Tuesday, signaling a bullish outlook.
CryptoQuant's summary data also shows mildly cautious signs, with large whale orders in futures markets and sell-side dominance, as well as heating conditions in spot markets. This mixed sentiment is further reflected in the technical analysis, which puts DOGE at a make-or-break zone.
