Doppler Expands to Solana with Native Rebuild
Doppler, a token launch protocol built by Whetstone Research, has expanded to Solana (SOL) with a native rebuild. This move comes after Doppler disclosed a $9 million seed round raised in Q2 2025.
The team redesigned the protocol from first principles to accommodate Solana's Virtual Machine, which has distinct architectural assumptions and constraints. 'The SVM has fundamentally different constraints,' Doppler said in its announcement.
Doppler currently powers over 40,000 daily asset creations representing more than $1.5 billion in aggregate value on Base. The protocol operates as a Uniswap v4 hook that automates initial price discovery through Dutch-auction dynamic bonding curves.
The move reflects a broader convergence between Base and Solana ecosystems. Doppler is positioning itself as a more institutional-grade alternative with audited contracts and anti-MEV mechanics.
