Dormant Bitcoin Wallets Spring Back to Life

A trend of dormant Bitcoin wallets reactivating is gaining attention in the crypto market. According to DeCrypt, four long-term dormant wallets have transferred a total of 202.84 BTC between August 29 and September 4.

The largest wallet held 146.06 BTC, worth approximately $11.31 million at current value. It had been untouched since November 2013, resulting in a return on investment of about 12,902 percent if acquired at the time.

A 40 BTC wallet that had been dormant since 2011 transferred about $3.09 million to Coinbase, raising the possibility of sales. The transfer was worth nearly $120 at the time, exceeding $3 million after being held for almost 15 years.
