A recent flurry of activity in dormant Bitcoin wallets has stirred up interest and uncertainty among market participants. According to Galaxy Research, four long-idle wallets moved a total of 202.84 BTC between Aug. 29 and Sept. 4, with their holdings valued at roughly $15.73 million.

The largest move came first, involving a 146.06 BTC stash that had remained untouched since Nov. 2013. This wallet showed a gain of about 12,902% from its original cost basis near $595.

Another notable movement was a 40 BTC wallet from 2011, which gained more than 2.5 million percent on its original cost. The wallet had been bought at an average price near $3 and turned roughly $120 into about $3.09 million after nearly 15 years.
