Dormant Bitcoin Wallets Transfer $40 Million in August
Six previously dormant Bitcoin wallets transferred 553.59 BTC worth approximately $40 million between August 16 and 26.
The funds were sent to six different wallet addresses, with five of them transferring funds to accounts not affiliated with any known cryptocurrency exchange.
An additional 40 BTC was transferred to Boerse Stuttgart Digital.
This activity marks a significant movement in the dormant coins market, which saw its lowest level since the third quarter of 2022 in the second quarter of this year.
