Hyperscale Data has shut down its Bitcoin mining operations at its Dowagiac facility in Michigan, USA.

The decision comes after a new deal with its California-based neocloud provider was signed, which will see the facility transition into an AI data center. The contract is reportedly worth over $1 billion over the next decade.

All Bitcoin miners at the facility went offline on September 1 as part of the shutdown process.
