Druckenmiller Pours $88M into Digital Assets with Bitdeer and Hyperliquid Bets
Stanley Druckenmiller, a legendary investor and manager of Duquesne Family Office, has entered the digital assets industry by investing in Bitdeer Technologies Group (BTDR), a global high-performance computing company. According to the 13F Form filed in August 2026, Druckenmiller built a position in BTDR in Q2, acquiring over $64.7 million worth of shares at an average purchase price of $12.26.
The investment comes as BTDR has reported decreasing quarter-over-quarter net and gross loss percentages. Additionally, the company recently closed a 16-year, $4.7B AI deal for 121MW at Norway's Tydal campus and is breaking ground on a plant in Nevada to produce 10,000 Sealminer units monthly by next year.
Druckenmiller also invested in Hyperliquid Strategies (PURR), purchasing 2.9 million shares valued at $23.1 million. PURR is the largest HYPE-focused digital asset treasury company, aiming to provide capital-efficient and productive access to the HYPE token for U.S. and institutional investors.
Other major funds like Citadel and Jane Street have mirrored Druckenmiller's move, heavily increasing their BTDR holdings in Q2.
