Dubai Duty Free Now Accepts Cryptocurrency Payments

Crypto payments have become available at Dubai Duty Free locations in DXB and AMIA airports, as well as for online orders. This move is part of a broader effort to make cryptocurrency a common payment method in everyday services.

The process works like this: customers select their products, choose crypto payment via Pay, confirm the transaction, and receive purchase confirmation. A separate agreement has also been signed with Emirates, allowing ticket purchases with digital currency on its website and mobile app.

The customer selects a flight, proceeds to payment, chooses an available digital asset in the payment interface, and the final amount is converted into UAE dirhams.
