Dunamu Secures One-Year Police Crypto Custody Contract in South Korea
The South Korean National Police Agency has awarded Dunamu, the operator of Upbit exchange, a one-year contract to manage digital assets seized during criminal investigations.
The agreement covers storage and management services for cryptocurrencies and other digital assets through Upbit Custody, Dunamu's institutional custody platform.
The service will be provided 24/7, with continuous monitoring and response infrastructure in place, including cold wallets and multi-signature tools to secure the assets.
The contract was awarded after a competitive public tender, with Dunamu receiving the highest technical score and becoming the preferred negotiating bidder on July 8.
