Dyscotech Forced to Migrate After Cosmos Chain Downtime
Dyscotech's pilot project in August 2026 aimed to expand financial access for micro economies in the Global South by moving stablecoin yield, fixed-rate leverage vaults, and onchain reputation tracking directly onto wallets.
The Cosmos-based home chain suffered downtime due to an EVM module vulnerability, forcing Dyscotech to relocate to a new chain.
The project has operated since February and its pilot results showed deposit yields and leverage access yet exposed gaps in cross-chain bridges, capital deployment, and low-fee offramps.
