EF Protocol Unveils Unified Tier List for Hegotá EIPs
The EF Protocol cluster has published its unified view on Hegotá EIPs (Enhancement Proposals) in a tier list, which grades each proposal based on its priority and feasibility for inclusion. This is the first time the cluster has released a single tier list, rather than individual team opinions. The tier list was compiled by 16 contributors, including teams and individual experts, who graded each EIP independently. The scores were then averaged to determine the final tier for each proposal.
The EF Protocol cluster uses a scoring system where S-tier proposals are considered must-ships, while DFI (Declined for Inclusion) proposals are not viable due to concerns such as security risks or prescriptive language. The cluster's priorities for Hegotá EIPs include implementing FOCIL (Focused CL Headliner), which allows users to include transactions without relying on centralized builders.
Some notable proposals in the S-tier category include EIP-7805, FOCIL, and EIP-8369, VOPS Profiles for FOCIL Eligibility. These proposals are considered high-priority and expected to ship as part of Hegotá.
