Egorov Slams Pump.fun Memecoins, Cites Phantom Wallet Issues

Curve Finance founder Michael Egorov has expressed his frustration with two prominent Solana-based platforms, Pump.fun and Phantom. In a recent post on X, Egorov criticized Pump.fun's memecoin listings, calling them a 'casino of scams.'

Egorov also shared an unpleasant experience connecting the Phantom wallet to a hardware device, describing it as 'rougher' than his experience with MetaMask.

ClaawPump co-founder Tomi204 responded in the same thread, arguing that Pump.fun only provides the underlying service and that users are responsible for how they use it. Tomi204 also defended Phantom's usability, saying it remains a workable option for average users.
