Eigenlayer's on-chain activity has reached its highest levels in months, but the price of EIGEN remains stagnant at $0.23.

A total of 60 large transactions were recorded on Wednesday, a four-month high that matches the level seen on March 16.

New wallet creation also spiked to 219, the highest since June 10, according to Santiment data.

This sudden increase in activity may indicate that well-capitalized entities are quietly acquiring or preparing for a future event, rather than a sudden retail chase.

The restaking model of Eigenlayer allows Ethereum validators to secure AVSs, making it a foundational layer for projects that don't want to bootstrap their own security.
