Eight Startups on the Verge of Going Public: Crunchbase's Predictions for 2026
The public market window is closing for startups looking to go public in 2026. With SpaceX already having made its historic IPO, attention has turned to which venture-backed companies might still make a move in coming months.
Crunchbase's predictive intelligence tools have identified eight startups that are likely to go public within the next six months. These companies span various industries, including artificial intelligence, fintech, crypto, consumer health, and climate technology.
Anthropic, considered one of the most closely watched IPO prospects, is not included in Crunchbase's near-term screen but is still seen as very likely to go public within a 6-12 month timeframe. The company has raised $125 billion from private-market investors since its founding in 2021 and could debut as soon as September or October.
Oura, the smart-ring maker, is also a likely IPO candidate, with a possible listing as soon as September or October. Oura has raised $1.5 billion from investors and has a valuation above $11 billion. A successful offering would provide a notable test of public-market appetite for consumer health hardware.
Other startups on the list include Notion, Kraken, SambaNova, Stegra, Stripe, and OpenEvidence, all of which have raised significant funding and have seen strong growth in their respective industries.
