EMCD Offers Up to $30M in Support Amid Crypto Mining Downturn
EMCD has launched its Miner Support Program in response to the current downturn in the crypto mining industry. Bitcoin's hashprice, which measures revenue per unit of compute, has plummeted by 50% from its October 2025 peak to approximately $28/PH/day. This decline has led to an estimated 252 EH/s of capacity being taken offline as operators with older hardware can no longer afford to operate.
EMCD's program aims to alleviate the financial pressure on miners by offering up to $30 million in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits. Miners can access secured liquidity facilities at a rate of 3.9% APR to cover operational costs without selling assets into a down market. Additionally, they can apply for zero pool commission for 60 days, reducing overhead while hashprice remains depressed.
The program also includes preferential pricing on Vnish firmware, a leading third-party ASIC optimization software, and special terms on equipment and data center services through EMCD's partner network. Partner manufacturers, data centers, and hosting providers are invited to join the program by offering exclusive terms to eligible miners.
