EMCD Offers Up to $30M in Support for Struggling Miners
EMCD, a global crypto-fintech platform and one of the world's largest Bitcoin mining pools, has launched its Miner Support Program to help operators facing the industry's toughest profitability squeeze. The program provides eligible miners with access to up to $30 million in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits.
The current period is marked by a 50% drop in hashprice - the key measure of mining revenue per unit of compute - which has fallen to approximately $28/PH/day, an all-time post-halving low. An estimated 252 EH/s has been taken offline as operators running older-generation hardware found margins no longer viable.
EMCD sees this period as both a stress test and a structural opportunity for operators who stay active. To address the challenges, the company has assembled a concrete response: restructured fees, negotiated hardware and infrastructure deals, and open access to its liquidity and yield products.
