EMCD Offers Up to $30M in Support for Struggling Miners Amid Industry Downturn
EMCD, a global cryptocurrency mining pool and infrastructure provider, has launched its Miner Support Program in response to the current challenges facing the industry. The program offers eligible miners access to up to $30 million in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits.
The move comes as Bitcoin's hashprice, which measures mining revenue per unit of compute, has dropped by 50% from its peak in October 2025, according to CoinShares Q1 2026 data. An estimated 252 EH/s of hashrate has been taken offline due to the decline in profitability.
EMCD's program includes restructured fees, negotiated hardware and infrastructure deals, and access to the company's liquidity and yield products. Miners can also apply for secured liquidity facilities at 3.9% APR to cover operational costs without selling assets into a down market.
Additionally, miners running older or underperforming hardware can unlock preferential pricing on Vnish firmware, while those looking to expand or relocate capacity get access to special terms on equipment and data center services through EMCD's partner network.
