EMCD Offers Up to $30M in Support to Bitcoin Miners Amid Hashprice Crash
EMCD, one of the world's largest Bitcoin mining pools, has launched its Miner Support Program to aid operators affected by the current downturn in the industry. The program provides eligible miners with access to up to $30 million in financing, fee relief, and partner benefits.
The initiative comes as Bitcoin's hashprice has declined to approximately $28/PH/day, a 50% drop from its October 2025 peak, according to CoinShares Q1 2026 data. This decline has led to an estimated 252 EH/s being taken offline, with operators running older-generation hardware finding margins no longer viable.
EMCD's program includes restructured fees, negotiated hardware and infrastructure deals, and access to its liquidity and yield products. Miners facing cash flow pressure can access EMCD's secured liquidity facilities at 3.9% APR, while those looking to protect margins on every block can apply for zero pool commission for 60 days.
EMCD is inviting hardware manufacturers, data centers, and hosting providers to join the program by offering exclusive terms to eligible miners. The company's founder and CEO, Michael Jerlis, stated that the program is their commitment to making sure their miners have the tools to survive during downturns.
