Emerging Markets Flood Wall Street Through Crypto Accounts

Emerging markets are increasingly using cryptocurrency accounts to buy Wall Street stocks. Over the first 15 days of trading in June, bStocks' trading volume was fueled by emerging markets, accounting for 58% of its total volume.

The majority of Binance's total equity users, over 90%, also come from these regions. This adoption pattern diverges significantly from traditional brokerage patterns.

US equities have seen rising foreign demand, with net purchases reaching a record $646.7 billion in the twelve months through September 2025. However, access to US stocks is limited globally, with nearly 89% of the population without meaningful access.

Binance's Head of Exchange & Trading, Shunyet Jan, notes that users are exploring traditional finance through an experience that is 'borderless, always available, and integrated with the digital assets they already hold.'
