Emirates Airlines Now Accepts Crypto Payments With Shiba Inu Included
The Dubai-headquartered Emirates Airlines has integrated cryptocurrency payments into its website and mobile app, allowing customers to book flights using digital assets. This move marks a significant milestone for Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other cryptocurrencies, as they can now be used for real-world transactions. The integration supports 30 different cryptocurrencies, including SHIB, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and others.
The payment solution is powered by Crypto.com Pay, which allows customers to use their Crypto.com account to book flights on the Emirates website and app. This feature is available to eligible UAE residents for bookings priced and settled in Emirati Dirham (AED). The launch of this partnership between Crypto.com and Emirates supports Dubai's Cashless Strategy under the D33 Economic Agenda.
Shiba Inu has been gaining attention lately, with a surge in social buzz due to large whale transactions and publicized wallet activity. The cryptocurrency saw an 8% gain over the past week, outperforming other major cryptocurrencies.
