Emirates Integrates Crypto.com Pay for Digital Asset Flight Purchases in UAE

Emirates Airlines has integrated Crypto.com Pay as a payment method for eligible UAE residents purchasing tickets online. This move aligns with Dubai's strategy to digitize 90% of financial transactions within three years.

The airline now accepts digital currency payments, which are converted by Crypto.com and finalized in AED. App users authorize transactions within the Crypto.com mobile application before booking completion, while web-based customers utilize QR code scanning to process payments.

This integration represents another step in Emirates' digital transformation and supports the emirate's broader cashless economy objectives. The deployment follows a collaborative agreement between Emirates and Crypto.com announced in July 2025.
