Emirates Unveils Crypto Payments via Crypto.com Partnership
Emirates Airlines has rolled out crypto payments through its partnership with Crypto.com Pay. Eligible UAE residents can now use their Crypto.com accounts to pay for Emirates flights in AED, thanks to a recently integrated payment service.
The integration follows a memorandum of understanding between Crypto.com and Emirates in July 2025, which aimed to bring Crypto.com's crypto payment service into the airline's global payment infrastructure.
According to Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, 'Bringing this initiative to life delivers on our commitment to expanding customer choice in how they pay for travel. It also reflects the rapidly evolving preferences of a younger, digitally fluent generation who manage their money and plan their journeys primarily from their phones and they expect the airlines they fly with to keep pace.'
