Empery Digital Sells $102 Million Worth of Bitcoin
Empery Digital has made significant changes to its Bitcoin holdings over the past month. According to Coinmarketcap, the company sold 1,635 Bitcoin between July 1 and August 6 for approximately $102.2 million.
This sale reduced Empery's total Bitcoin holdings to 1,279, a decrease of 76.4% from its previous unrestricted holdings of 325 Bitcoin as of June 30. The company had initially held 2,914 Bitcoin on that date.
Empery's financial health has been impacted by the decline in value of its digital assets. In the first half of 2026, it sold 1,167 Bitcoin, resulting in a realized loss of $56.8 million, with digital asset losses accounting for 87% of operating expenses.
