Equity Rally Leaves Bitcoin in the Shadows
The S&P 500 index has surged this month, adding nearly $2.1 trillion to its market value and reaching a record high near $70.5 trillion.
This growth is largely driven by AI-focused stock demand, which analysts say is not directly linked to the cryptocurrency market.
Bitcoin's price has only risen 2% during this period, trading near $64,600 and within a narrow range similar to July levels.
Adam Haeems, head of asset management at Tesseract Group, attributed the gap between equities and crypto markets to sectors with limited exposure to Bitcoin, such as AI and semiconductor stocks.
