Eric Trump's American Bitcoin Posts $57.2M Q2 Loss Amid Treasury Growth
American Bitcoin Corp., co-founded by Eric Trump, reported a net loss of $57.2 million for Q2 2026, narrowing from the previous quarter's $81.8 million loss.
The company's strategic reserve expanded to 8,002 BTC, and mining revenue climbed 8% quarter over quarter to $67 million, with production volume driving the gain rather than pricing power.
Cheap energy costs at select sites contributed to a marginal increase in unit costs to mine, which came in at approximately $36,500 per Bitcoin. Gross margin held near the 50% line despite the spot price falling 12% during the period.
