ETF Frenzy Can't Break Bitcoin's $82K Wall
The recent influx of $3.8 billion into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs over three weeks is a bullish signal, but it's not enough to push Bitcoin through its stubborn resistance zone around $82,000.
BTC has repeatedly struggled to turn the $80,000-$82,000 area into support, and recent technical analysis puts the broader resistance zone around $82,000, $83,000.
The ETF inflows do not necessarily mean that every dollar becomes a market buy at the current BTC price. There are multiple layers between investor demand and the underlying Bitcoin, including creations, redemptions, liquidity providers, and secondary-market trading.
The size of the recent ETF rebound is difficult to ignore, with U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs taking in approximately $986.9 million in one week, bringing the three-week total to $3.8 billion. However, the latest weekly data shows roughly $463 million in net outflows, making the next few sessions important.
