Ethereum's dominance in Q3 has surpassed Bitcoin's growth rate by 25%, according to TradingView data. This significant rotation into ETH and higher beta assets suggests that investors are looking for alternative investment opportunities as BTC approaches its $80k resistance.
The ETH/BTC ratio has also seen a 25% increase in Q3, its highest quarterly increase since Q3 2025. However, the ratio remains in the 0.03 resistance area, indicating that further growth is needed to confirm a stronger bullish rotation into Ethereum.
Bitcoin's on-chain dynamics support this trend, with BTC gradually approaching $76,921.27. If it reaches this level, another wave of selling pressure is expected, unlocking fresh deposits and providing space for capital rotation into ETH.
