ETH Eyes $3,000 Breakout with Crucial Resistance Level Holding
Ethereum's price has been under pressure in recent days, but market analysts remain optimistic about its potential to reach $3,000. Currently trading at $2,478.34 with a 24-hour volume of $15.22 billion and a market capitalization of $301.50 billion, Ethereum has declined by 2.23% over the last 24 hours.
The technical picture for Ethereum remains relevant as it continues to trade above the key resistance level of $2,300-$2,400. This is according to Wealthmanager, who pointed out that Bitcoin's difficulty in rising above its higher time-frame resistance level of $82,000-$83,000 contrasts with Ethereum's success in breaking through its own resistance levels.
Wealthmanager predicts that if Ethereum sustains above the former resistance level, it could turn into a support that propels the next upward move. However, this is not a certainty and analysts caution that the $2,300-$2,400 zone is crucial for determining whether the breakout will hold or lead to further consolidation.
