Eth.limo Gateway Breach: Vitalik Buterin Warns Users to Avoid Affected Domains

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has warned users to avoid all eth.limo addresses after the ENS gateway's domain registrar was breached.

The attack on eth.limo, a free open-source gateway that routes Ethereum Name Service content to standard web browsers, allowed attackers to redirect traffic across the wildcard *.eth.limo domain.

This opened the door to phishing pages or malware for anyone who visited the affected domains. Buterin posted a direct IPFS link to his blog as a safe workaround and urged users to wait for confirmation from the eth.limo team before returning to any eth.limo page.
