ETH Staking Sees Net Outflows Amid Rising APR

Ethereum staking experienced a net outflow of 149,113 ETH from July 28 to August 3, despite an increase in annual percentage rate (APR) for staking rewards from 2.66% to 2.67%. This shows that some investors are taking profits or managing liquidity, but it doesn't necessarily indicate a decline in long-term adoption.

Total staked ETH reached 41.37 million, which is about one-third of the circulating supply. The withdrawal queue is empty, allowing for fast exits, while the entry queue remains large, causing a wait time of around 42 days for new stakes.

Major staking providers like Lido and Binance continue to dominate, highlighting ongoing centralization concerns in Ethereum's staking ecosystem.
