ETH Supply Plummets, Setting Stage for Potential Price Surge
Ethereum's exchange supply has plummeted by 73% since June 2020, from 22.9 million to just 6.06 million ETH.
This significant decline is due to Ethereum being moved into staking, ETF wrappers, treasury strategies, and long-term custody, as well as validators locking the crypto asset to secure the network.
As a result, even smaller waves of buying can have a larger impact on price movements, making demand less necessary for stronger price action. The decreased supply is a positive sign for Ethereum's future growth, although some experts warn that any rejection could send the price towards $2,150 or lower.
