ETH Surges Past $2,500 as ETF Inflows and Short Liquidations Fuel Rally
Ethereum (ETH) broke through the $2,500 barrier for the first time since mid-April, marking its strongest price level in months. The surge was fueled by massive ETF inflows and short liquidations.
US spot Ethereum ETFs attracted a staggering $512.4 million in net inflows over four consecutive days, with Coin Bureau describing this as the largest consecutive ETF inflow period since September 2025.
Short position liquidations reached an astonishing $1.69 billion over three days, with forced buying pressure adding upward momentum to an already advancing market. This created a feedback loop that propelled prices higher.
