ETH Surpasses BTC by Triple Amid Quiet Market Shift
Ethereum has been quietly gaining ground on Bitcoin, and the scoreboard now reflects it. The ETH/BTC trading ratio climbed to approximately 0.03 on July 27, marking its highest level in three months.
This marks a significant milestone for Ethereum, which has gained roughly 24% over the past month. In contrast, Bitcoin has managed about 8%. This shift is evident in the growing dominance of ETH in the cryptocurrency market, with its value outpacing BTC by triple in recent times.
According to Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, the rising ETH/BTC ratio is a bullish indicator for cryptocurrency prices moving forward. The company has been actively adding to its Ethereum holdings, with 9,946 ETH purchased at a value of roughly $19.4 million in the week prior.
