ETH Sweeps Upside Liquidity as Bitcoin Prepares for Potential Pump
ETH is sweeping the upside liquidity above its May range highs, according to an analysis by VIAQUANT on TradingView. This move was predicted by the analyst, who pointed out that a local high formed between $2,480 and $2,530.
The current trend lines are still acting as resistance for ETH, but if Bitcoin were to pump into the $82,000 to $85,000 zone, ETH could reach several upside targets. The first level is between $2,620 and $2,630, which acted as a wick low of support in November 2025.
Another key target is around $2,700, which has been a heavily traded level with confluence surrounding it. Additionally, the 0.618 target from the macro trend aligns with the $2,820 to $2,850 zone, and a deviation of 17% to the upside would put ETH in line with this target.
The analyst notes that how far ETH travels will depend on how ETH/BTC behaves during the period. If ETH/BTC trends back into the new demand region, the move for ETH could be more muted. But if ETH/BTC is able to push back toward the 0.618 level, ETH would have the relative strength needed to reach its higher targets.
