ETH Volume Surges 49%, Outpacing Bitcoin's 7% Jump

Ethereum's spot volume surged nearly 50% over the past 24 hours, outperforming Bitcoin's 7% increase. This significant growth in Ethereum's trading activity has analysts optimistic about its future prospects.

According to Glassnode data, Ethereum's spot volume reached $6.14 billion, while Bitcoin's spot volume increased to $6.53 billion during the same period. However, Ethereum's open interest rose 1%, whereas Bitcoin's fell 3.9%.

Fundstrat Global Advisors head of research, Tom Lee, recently expressed his bullish sentiment on Ethereum, citing its potential benefits from artificial intelligence (AI) adoption in financial services. He stated that AI will transform financial services and Ethereum is one of the primary tools for this shift.
