ETH Whale Unleashes $50 Million Buying Spree in Under Two Hours
A significant Ethereum whale has made a substantial purchase of 25,425 ETH worth approximately $50 million within a two-hour window. The transaction was facilitated through three newly created wallets that appear to belong to the same buyer.
According to on-chain tracker Lookonchain, the wallets drew from a shared pool of DAI, converting the stablecoin into ETH at an average price of $1,968 per coin. This pattern is often associated with buyers trying to avoid tipping off the market or triggering front-running on a large order.
The buyer's identity remains unknown, but the size and speed of the buy make it one of the more notable single-buyer ETH accumulations reported this week. On-chain analysts tend to watch new whale wallets rather than dismiss them after one transaction, as they often sit quiet afterward or continue adding to their position in smaller increments.
