Ether ETFs Smash Record Inflows Amid Tightening Supply
U.S. spot ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have attracted record-breaking net inflows, drawing in $220.8 million on August 20th, a single-day intake that surpasses a 203-session record.
This influx is part of a larger trend, with combined Bitcoin ETF inflows reaching $2.07 billion for the month of August alone, exceeding April's previous high of $1.97 billion with seven trading sessions remaining.
The demand for ether products has been building steadily throughout 2026, with ether ETFs experiencing five consecutive positive weeks through early August, before Thursday's record-breaking inflow broke that pattern.
BlackRock's ETHA dominated the flows, recording $122 million in a single session on August 19th, while Fidelity's FETH added $36.54 million and Grayscale contributed $16 million during the same period.
