Ether ETFs Soar as Bitcoin Funds Extend Outflow Streak
The crypto ETF market experienced a split on Friday, with Ether funds witnessing significant inflows while Bitcoin funds continued to face outflows.
Bitcoin's price hovered around $77,000, which could be a key factor in the weak institutional flows. Total bitcoin ETF trading value reached $2.60 billion, and net assets closed at $97.58 billion, capping an entirely negative week for the group with cumulative outflows reaching $462.73 million.
The Ether funds, on the other hand, delivered a strong move, recording $216.41 million in net inflows across six funds. Blackrock's ETHA led the way with $148.82 million, while Bitwise's ETHW added $29.09 million and Fidelity's FETH brought in another $11.40 million.
