Ether Surges as Bitcoin Holds Firm at $65,500 Amid Market Stability
Crypto markets are experiencing a boost in value, led by Ether's rise. Bitcoin has remained steady at around $65,500. According to Jeff Ko, chief analyst at CoinEx, this stability can be attributed to several factors. First, oil prices have retreated from their highs after a pause in U.S.-Iran hostilities. Additionally, the 10-year Treasury yield is approaching 4.7%, contributing to the Fed's tightening efforts without requiring direct action.
The Federal Reserve may also be holding back on making any significant moves ahead of this week's PCE inflation and second-quarter GDP data announcements. Ko suggests that corporate earnings will have a greater impact on market fluctuations. Apple, Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon are set to report their results this week, which could influence Treasury yields and the Nasdaq, subsequently affecting liquidity in crypto markets.
As such, Ko believes that ETF flows will be just as crucial as headline numbers in shaping market trends.
