Ethereum Breaks $2,300 as AlphaPepe Aims for Speculative $1 Roadmap

Ethereum has broken above $2,300 in a five-day rally as renewed ETF demand, short liquidations, and improving crypto sentiment send capital back toward large-cap assets. The rally began with Bitcoin's move, but Ethereum quickly outperformed as capital rotated into assets offering higher sensitivity to an altcoin recovery.

ETF flows added weight to the move, with US spot Ethereum ETFs attracting approximately $189 million on August 19, their strongest daily inflow since October 2025. Trading volume also increased sharply as ETH moved through $2,000, $2,200, and $2,300.

The next important zone sits between $2,400 and $2,500. Holding above $2,300 would give Ethereum a stronger foundation for testing that area, while a decisive $2,500 breakout could return $3,000 to the short-term discussion.
