Ethereum Breaks Through Realized Price Barrier on Strong Institutional Demand
Ethereum has broken through its realized price barrier after 108 days of trading below it. This means that at least some holders are now in a position to have an unrealized gain, which could reduce selling pressure and increase buying power.
The push up to $2,500 has also led to strong ETF inflows, with institutions increasing their exposure to Ethereum instead of reducing positions after the rally. The total weekly inflows into Ethereum have hit $824.42 million, following $697.18 million in the previous week.
This surge in institutional demand could help buyers defend higher prices during pullbacks and provide stronger evidence that institutions are supporting lasting price acceptance if continued inflows accompany closes above $2,500.
