Ethereum is celebrating its 11th birthday and it's marking the beginning of what experts call a new leadership era for the network.
The decentralized open-source blockchain has delivered an annualized return of more than 270% since launch, effectively quadrupling an investor's capital each year over the past 11 years.
Institutional demand for Ethereum has strengthened in recent months, with U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recording $342.9 million in net inflows in July 2026, a sharp reversal from $528.99 million in net outflows during June.
