Ethereum developers are reviewing 66 proposals for the upcoming Hegotá network upgrade. The proposals include several privacy-oriented applications that aim to add 'native privacy' primitives, potentially reducing reliance on third-party workarounds.

Toni Wahrstätter, an Ethereum Foundation contributor, argued in a recent post that more than one mechanism may be needed to achieve protocol-level privacy.

The proposals under consideration include FOCIL (EIP-xxxx), Frame Transactions (EIP-8141), Keyed Nonces (EIP-8250), and Recent Roots for Frame Transactions (EIP-8272).
